Rules are there to be broken - the laws of design are no exception. Paradoxically,
design has more than enough of them; one could almost call it the little nerd child of the liberal arts. But that's exactly what we (Colin, Jeremy and Leon) disagree with.
We want to do more than just follow rules, more than work off a manual for good design. We want to test boundaries, contradict the standard, challenge laws - by hook or by crook. Hence the manual that contradicts itself, a rulebook for breaking the rules, by us for you.
